The North Carolina native has been based in the Washington, DC area since 2005. Kristen's diverse background has allowed her to plan events and develop strategies around the globe for large companies like ExxonMobil, Booz Allen Hamilton, Starwood Hotels, start-up technology companies and various US-based associations and non-profits. She loves the wide skill set required for planning; from the details of financial management and contract negotiation to food and beverage creativity and engaging with attendees onsite.

 

As an advocate for the industry, Kristen is passionate about the role that events have in organizations and

works to help planners have a better seat at the table.

Kristen studied Communications and Theater at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a wife to Marvin and mother of two daughters (Kaitlyn & Kassidy) and a son (Kolton), who inspire her to think bigger every day.
